RECIPE: Tuiles a L’Orange

INGREDIENTS

  • 50g orange juice
  • orange zest
  • 50g butter, melted
  • 100g sugar
  • 50g flour

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven  350°F.
  2. Whisk the flour and the sugar together in a bowl.
  3. Whisk in the orange juice and the zest and mix together until well combined.
  4. Drizzle in the melted butter and continue mixing until smooth.
  5. Cool in the fridge until set.
  6. Spread the mixture thinly using a palette knife on mat lined baking pan.
  7. Bake the tuiles for about 6-8 minutes, rotating the sheet pan halfway through, until they just begin to turn light brown.
  8. Let them cool for about a minute on the sheet pan and then place them over a rolling pin to curve. 
  9. Allow them to cool long enough so they maintain their shape.
  10. Enjoy!
