- Fresh green beans
- Shallots (thinly sliced)
- Basil (roughly shredded)
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Balsamic vinegar
- Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- Condiments (salt and pepper to taste)
- Blanch the green beans
- Whisk a vinaigrette with, shallots, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil, salt and pepper to taste
- Coat the beans with the vinaigrette
- Sprinkle with parmesan
- Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Toss to combine
- Chill until ready to serve.
